Sleeping with dolphins

S loves to choose something to sleep with at night. Usually a stuffed animal or a doll. She waits until she’s supposed to be asleep, then rummages around in her closet (or asks us to help) until she finds the exact thing to cuddle with. It’s different every night. She found an inflatable dolphin last night. It’s about twice as big as she is in length, and bigger around than I am. She wanted to blow it up and I ran around the house with it letting her bounce up and down. Around 10:30 last night I was getting in bed when I heard sounds of what I thought was her playing. She wasn’t, she was working on getting this huge dolphin into her bed and under her covers. I was laughing so hard I forgot to be angry that she was up 2 hours past her bedtime. Then I took this picture of her and the dolphin sleeping peacefully this morning. There’s another photo of the sleeping arrangement on Sister’s Page.
