- The watercube building being used in the Beijing Olympics
- How to create a fake decapitation effect
- Cape Shank home with a rain collector in the living room
- Food porn of the day, Pastilla
- Utah Romney supporters split on who to support
- Music from car parts
- Interesting post on the priesthood ban. I always assumed all fifteen members of the Twelve and First Presidency agreed with lifting the ban. It turns out the two who would have objected weren’t in the meeting that day (one was in the hospital, the other “on assignment” in Brazil).
- Huge sculpture made of peaches
- Rebate checks will probably go out in May. You get between $300-600 and an additional $300 per kid.
- Project (RED) has spent $100 million in advertising, and raised between $18-25 million for charity.
This weekend is looking pretty busy, I apologize in advance if there are no links until Monday.
Yesterday someone emailed me asking to explain why I like Barack Obama. They’re a McCain fan and were just wondering what I see in him. Only problem is, I think the site has had too much of a political focus this past week, and I want to give the people that are bored a break. So I’ll write up a post on why I like Obama and put it up next week. You’ll have to get all my political views from my links until then.
The Pastilla was our absolute favorite food that we ate in Spain. We’ve been looking for it ever since. It’s legendary in our minds.
