Valentine’s Day used to really bug me. I love buying flowers for Britnie, but hate the fact that someone is telling me to buy flowers on a certain day. Brit and I usually don’t do anything big, maybe a take-out(Olive Garden this year) and forcing children to go to bed early. This year two photography projects I was working on just happened to come together around Valentines Day, so they’ve turned into presents. The first is the result of a Sunday photo shoot. I found this frame on clearance at Target a while ago, and was just looking for an interesting way to use it. This large piece is the background.
(To see everyone’s expressions, you may want to see it big. Click on the photo and at the next page click on All Sizes toward the top)
The frame has two layers, so on the front layer I added a slightly larger photo of each of us that had deeper color so it stood out even more. I like the layered look it has.
The second part of the gift is a small memory book that includes photos of Britnie that I like along with some memories of our marriage, mostly disgusting lovey-dovey stuff.
Unfortunately Britnie will probably be too embarrassed to show it to another living soul because it includes details of many exciting (and possibly illegal) moments in our life, including the infamous Model Home incident.
I love you Britnie.

That’s extremely cool. Looks like a lot of hard work paid off!
Hello to Jeremy’s mum!

So glad to see you still have romance in you. What great gifts. Now, about that model home incident……
That is a ridicilously cool idea. Great work.
