More of my favorite sites

Two more of my favorite sites that I obsessively hit refresh on my RSS reader to see if they’ve given me more to consume.
Anthony Bourdain is one of my favorite chefs, and I’ve never eaten at one of his restaurants. Where should I start? He wrote my favorite book on being a chef. He wrote my favorite travel book. He hosted my favorite Food Network show, and now hosts my favorite travel show. He’s my favorite guest judge on a show that Britnie and I are addicted too, so much that we lose sleep just to watch one more episode.
He has two blogs, one for Top Chef which I only read long after the episode is over, and one for the Travel channel, which I love. He talks about the interesting food he eats in Vietnam, China and Romania. But it’s more than a travel show, and more than a food show. He find interesting people to talk to, and doesn’t spend much time in three star Michelin restaurants, instead finding the best places a the locals probably eat. He’s crass and fascinating. He gives insights into food, travel and the show he hosts. The only downside is he usually only updates a few times a month.
Jamie has two sites which I go to. He posts the occasional photo at his photoblog. He has a great style to his photography, and conversations with him about cameras was one of the main reasons I ended up buying the 400D. He started a small photography group for Planetcrap that kept people interested for a while, and always has great shots I can learn from. His blog at jmadigan.net is updated twice a week. He has excellent reviews of books every Friday (he part of the small group that are reading 52 books in 52 weeks) and then usually just a general post about his family. His blogs posts are again full of great photos of his daughters, and interesting happenings in his life. A couple of my favorite posts include a photo of the week and Sam at the farm.
