Fun at Lagoon

We went to Lagoon on Saturday with most of my family. It was a great time, we had fun watching the kids enjoy the rides. I’ll put more photos up later. Someone complained to me once that people only show you pictures, or maybe even take pictures, of their kids when their cute, bubbly, and wonderful to look at. Here’s one that isn’t anything like that.
He didn’t just cry and scream for a second, this was the whole time the ride was going, while I’m standing on the side yelling “wheee!” to try and get him to understand it was fun. This was the first ride of the day, and when I took him in I think he thought we were riding together, and then got upset when he realized I’d put him on this strange machine and he was surrounded by strangers. He got better on each ride, but for those first few he wasn’t sure what I was trying to do to him.
I wonder if we had gone back to that ride if he would have enjoyed it. He loved the cars, boats, train, plains and carousel. I bet you are right - he just needed to get in the groove. Saturday was probably one of the funnest days I have ever had a Lagoon. I am excited to go again next year.
That is such a tragic picture. I almost makes me mist up in solidarity with my nephew. I agree with Mom, Saturday was awesome although very tiring.

Oh, and I miss Lagoon, surprisingly.
