Sunday dinner

A few shots from dinner at my parents house. We stopped by Brad and Jolinn’s to say Happy Father’s Day, then moved on to see my mom and dad. We had great food at both places, and had fun visiting with everyone. And the talk of our July 4th trip with the Holbrooks got me excited to escape for a few days during the holiday.
While I hate the heat, it’s nice to be able to get all the kids outside where they can play after dinner. They really have a great time together.

That last portrait is gorgeous. It really looks like something I’d hang on my wall if she were in my family. Your wife must love that you guys can take portraits like that instead of paying someone to take nice pictures of your kids and stuff.

Great picture of Britnie. Did you tinker with it a little bit? She really pops out of he background, it looks great.
I think that light was just perfect. Everything right behind her was shade, but she was still in the light. I’m pretty sure I just adjusted the white balance and cropped on that one. The portrait of Lauren eating ice cream is the only one I did major tinkering with.

Thanks lulubird. Actually we still get portraits done, my wife isn’t a big fan of my style. I agree she looks great in that picture.
