A quick question for you, our loyal readers.

if you’re getting this in a RSS reader, there is a poll at the site. After being approached by some people at work, I’m looking into the possibility of doing some photography on the side, mostly portraits and candid shots of kids, families and babies. I have a name and a site that I’m slowly putting together, and just wanted to put some feelers out to see if there was actual interest among the people I know, or if the few people that have shown interest are just a fluke. Please be honest, I’m not looking for all of you to tell me how great I am, I’m looking for an honest opinion.
I’d love to hear feedback if you pick anything other than Very Likely. Thanks.
I voted somewhat likely, depending on the price because most of the people I know or are in contact with that would ask me for a referral don’t have a lot of money. However, I would be VERY likely to recommend you to anyone if your prices were reasonable because you have a great eye. Your pictures are outstanding. (And I’m not just saying that because you and my brother used to beat up me and your sister.)
It is funny that you posted about this because I was just talking to Neil about asking you to take some family pics of us for Christmas. We would definately recommend you to anyone who needs pictures!
I agree with Mommy of 3. Check with your Uncle M to see what the market is. He could also give you some tips. He just finished an extensive photography class and loved it.

The website looks great. Very professional. I understand it’s a work in progress, but I thought I’d suggest a couple things. I’d put some kind of business philosophy or something about your shooting style on front.
I’ve really liked the last few flickr photos you’ve put up. Some of the double and triple photos (2 or 3 in a single frame) are well done. You can tell you put a lot of time in to some of the images post-processing.
