The photographers I love more than the rest usually belong to two magazines, National Geographic or Life. After reading the biography of a photographer, it sounds like photojournalists are the same way, they all wanted their work to be in National Geographic or Life magazine.

Britnie recommended this book by Scott Westerfeld. She also recommended a Stephanie Meyer book, which I threw on the floor in disgust at how bad it was after ten pages. This one was better.

Robert Parker is one of my favorite authors, and though he’s stumbled a few times, Appaloosa isn’t one of those. Most of his fiction are crime stories set in the present, but this one is a western taking place in the past. And it’s brilliant.
